Calculation of Weaving Cost/ Woven Fabric Costing Calculation

Costing is an important issue for every production based industry. Without proper costing calculation of your product, you will not be able to offer the best price to customers. So, here is the costing calculation of woven fabric in gray state:

Calculation of Weaving cost/ Woven Fabric Costing Calculation

(Yarn rate+ Sizing Cost) x No. of cord
1.      Warp Cost = -------------------------------------------------------------------------- = Cost/yd
Length of Yarn (840 x Yarn count)

Yarn rate x Fabric width x Gear No.
2.      Weft Cost = --------------------------------------------------------------------------- = Cost/yd
Length of Yarn (840 x Yarn count)

3.      Wastage =7%= 7/100= 0.7

4.      Miscellaneous = Weaving charge + Electricity + Maintenance

Weaving Cost/yd = Cost of warp yarn/yd + Cost of weft yarn/yd + Wastage + Miscellaneous
